The Belfast Farmers’ Market is hosting its fall customer appreciation event on Friday, October 13th from 11 am to 1 pm at their summer location in the yard at Waterfall Arts in Belfast.
All are welcome to stop in and sample tastes of the season with a twist. Dare to Taste the Harvest’s cornucopia of different and unexpected dishes prepared by Market members will engage the taste buds in a new experience. Look for the harvest table in the middle of the market quadrangle.
VOLUNTEERS DESPERATELY NEEDED
Our market is volunteer driven. All vendors volunteer their time to help the market run, by putting out signs, writing newsletters, serving on the board of directors and promotion committee, arranging entertainment.
Some of our most important volunteers are you, the market customer!
We desperately need more volunteers to help man the EBT/credit card/info table to keep this important service running. Please stop by and thank our volunteers for their wonderful work, and see if you too can sign up to help.
MARKET MOVES INDOORS ON NOVEMBER 3
Each year after Halloween we migrate to our winter home at Aubuchon Hardware’s Greenhouse at 231 Northport Avenue, Belfast (Rt. 1 south). This year our first indoor market is November 3, 9am to 1pm. We’ll be there every Friday (except the day after Thanksgiving and major snowstorms) until mid-April 2018. Until then, we’re still out in the yard at Waterfall Arts.
